Key Features
Why choose the Ohme?
Outstanding smart tariff integration
Ohme is widely regarded as one of the best chargers for smart electricity tariff integration. It connects directly to your energy supplier and automatically schedules charging during the cheapest overnight periods — ideal for Octopus Go, Agile, and similar tariffs.
Socketed or tethered
The Ohme ePod is a socketed charger — use your own Type 2 cable, or add one from us. The Ohme Home Pro is the tethered version with a permanently attached cable for added convenience.
OLED display and app control
The built-in display shows live charging data at a glance. The Ohme app lets you set schedules, monitor energy use, and control charging remotely from your phone.
Compact and understated
The Ohme ePod has a clean, square form factor that sits neatly on the wall. The blue LED indicators add a subtle touch without being intrusive.
Installed price — no surprises
Our prices are fully installed. We assess your fuseboard before confirming the final price — if your existing board is suitable, you pay the lower rate. If a dedicated EV board is needed, we fit one and the higher rate applies.
Fuseboard Assessment
Is your fuseboard suitable for an EV charger?
Not all consumer units are suitable to have an EV charger added directly. Older boards — particularly plastic-cased units or those without RCD protection — can create safety risks when a high-draw circuit like an EV charger is added.
Before we confirm your final price, simply send us a photo of your current fuseboard via WhatsApp. We'll assess it the same day and let you know whether it's suitable, or whether a dedicated EV board needs to be fitted alongside it. There's no charge for this assessment.
If your main consumer unit needs a full upgrade — whether for the EV charger or for general safety — we can handle that too.
