Why We Recommend It
What makes the Sync Energy Link different
The smallest charger on the market
The Sync Energy Link is the smallest home EV charger available in the UK. It blends into your wall like an outdoor socket — barely noticeable, and entirely at home on any property. It preserves the character of your home in a way no other charger can.
Always includes a dedicated fuseboard
Every Sync Energy Link installation includes a dedicated fuseboard as standard — fitted either inside or outside depending on your preference. This keeps things clean and self-contained, and means we rarely need to touch your existing consumer unit.
Socketed — flexible cable options
The Sync Energy Link is a socketed charger, meaning the cable is not permanently attached. You choose the cable length that suits your driveway — 5m or 18m — or use your own Type 2 cable if you already have one.
Surface or recessed mount
We recommend surface mounting as standard — it's quicker, neater, and causes the least disruption. Recessed installation is available where the unit can sit directly behind the service head.
Standard installation covers 95% of homes
Standard installation includes up to 15m of cable run from your consumer unit to the charger. This is sufficient for the vast majority of UK homes — we'll let you know if your property needs anything beyond this.
