Solar and renewable energy integration
The Zappi's standout feature is its ability to charge your car using surplus energy from solar panels or wind turbines. Three charging modes — Fast, Eco, and Eco+ — let you choose how much grid power you use versus renewable energy.
Three charging modes
Fast mode charges at full speed using grid power. Eco mode uses a blend of renewable and grid power. Eco+ mode waits until you have enough surplus renewable energy to charge entirely for free — ideal if you have solar panels.
Tethered or untethered
Choose a tethered Zappi with a built-in 6.5m cable for maximum convenience, or go untethered (socketed) if you prefer to keep your own Type 2 cable or share it between vehicles.
Black or white — no extra cost
Both colour options are available at the same price, so you can choose whichever suits your home's exterior best without paying a premium.
Built-in display and app control
The Zappi features an LED display showing live charging status and energy data. Pair it with the myenergi app for remote scheduling, monitoring, and control.

How It Works
Three modes. One smart charger.
The Zappi works with any home solar or wind setup. Rather than exporting your surplus renewable energy to the grid for a small feed-in payment, it diverts that energy into your car instead — maximising the value of what you generate.
Charges at full speed using mains grid power, regardless of solar output. Same as any standard charger.
Blends surplus renewable energy with a minimum draw from the grid to keep charging at a consistent rate.
Charges only when surplus renewable energy is available — using purely what your panels generate and nothing from the grid.
