When evaluating the scope of a rewire project we must look into every detail of the job:

• We count up the total number of points - sockets, lights, switches etc - in the rewire to work out how much to budget for the materials, and to get a rough estimate of how much work is involved and how long it will take

• Next we must look at whether we are working in a building that is mostly stud walls or solid brick. Properties with solid walls take much longer and are more expensive to rewire as we need to cut channels to run the cables through

• We need to know whether you want white plastic or decorative fixtures. White plastic fixtures are cheaper while decorative fixtures cost more
