OUR TRANSPARENT PRICING PROMISE

At Power Team Electrics, we believe customers deserve honesty from the start. That’s why we keep our pricing simple, clear, and transparent. Before any work begins, we explain exactly what’s included and provide a fixed or detailed estimate so you know what you’re paying for and why. Our goal is to make quality electrical work easy to understand and fair for everyone.
FIXED PRICES WHEREVER POSSIBLE
At Power Team Electrics, we believe in clear and honest pricing. Wherever we can, we provide fixed prices so you know exactly what the job will cost before any work begins. Our fixed quotes cover both labour and standard materials — meaning you’re paying for the complete job, not the clock.

In most situations, we’re able to give you a fixed price. However, for certain types of work such as fault finding and emergency callouts, it’s not always possible to estimate how long the job will take until we’re on site. In these cases, we charge by the hour.
Our hourly rates are:
-
Standard hours (Monday–Friday, 8am–6pm)
-
Callout: £120+VAT
-
Labour: £100+VAT per hour
-
-
Out-of-hours (Evenings, weekends & holidays)
-
Callout: £150+VAT
-
Labour: £120+VAT per hour
-
The callout charge includes the first hour, and any additional time is billed in 30 minute increments

UNFORSEEN ISSUES AND VARIATIONS
No matter the job, we’ll always be transparent about how your price is calculated. If you decide to change your requirements for your job (for example requesting additional sockets in a rewire) or if any unforeseen circumstances arise during a fixed-price job — for example, poor building conditions that extend the work or require extra materials, then the price for the job will most likely need to be revised — we’ll discuss it with you first before proceeding.
WHATS INCLUDED IN OUR FIXED PRICES
Our fixed prices are designed to be as inclusive and straightforward as possible. They already cover the standard materials needed to complete the job — such as cables, connectors, and switches or sockets — so there are no surprise extras.

For lighting jobs, our fixed price includes the wiring, switches, and labour. Light fittings themselves are usually not included, as every customer’s style and preference are different. We’re happy to:
-
Supply a fitting for you and add the cost to your invoice, or
-
Install a fitting you’ve chosen and purchased yourself

For socket and switch replacements, our quote includes a budget for standard fixtures. If you’d like premium or designer fittings, we can simply add the extra cost to your invoice. And if you decide to provide your own fixtures, we’ll happily adjust the price — we can deduct up to 100% of the fixture cost, depending on their value.

Some jobs require us to break up your walls make housing for switches and sockets holes, and routes. Where this is the case our pricing includes repairing your walls to an acceptable standard, making them ready for redecorating.

VAT will be added to the given price at the applicable rate
Our goal is always to give you flexibility and clarity, so you get exactly what you want with no hidden costs.
WE ARE PIONEERS IN USING AI TECHNOLOGY TO QUOTE
At Power Team Electrics, we use smart AI tools to make our pricing, fairer, and more consistent. This development has also enabled us to instantly provide quotes for our customers.
Our online contact forms ask simple questions about your job — such as the number of lights, sockets, or rooms involved. The AI then calculates how much cable, how many fixtures, and how many fittings are likely needed. It multiplies your answers by a carefully tested figure that includes the cost of materials, the labour required, and miscellaneous essentials like screws, tapes, and connectors.

This process helps us give you an accurate quote quickly, while still making sure the price reflects real-world costs and professional standards.
