When installing outdoor sockets we normally connect the new socket to your existing circuit, which is a straightforward undertaking and works in most outdoor socket installations. In some instances however, we may need to create a new circuit running from your consumer unit, which will be a bigger job. This is usually the case for installations with more than 3 sockets, or where the sockets are going to be a significant distance from the house.
