When it comes to installing downlights, no two jobs are the same. When evaluating and pricing your job we will look at how many light points are to be fitted, as well as other factors such as how easily we will be able to run the cables, with it being much more straightforward to complete the job when there is easy access to the space above the ceiling; We will look at how many switch points are involved in your job when working out how many cables and light switches we need to supply; and in some older properties, to protect our engineers and customers alike, we will test the material on the ceiling to make sure it is non-toxic as installing downlights creates a significant amount of dust. Of course however, your home will be left spotless once the job is done!

It is important to note that when installing downlights, we may need to cut the ceiling for access. Our engineers will try to keep this to a minimum and do so as neatly as possible, however in these instances we highly recommend a hiring a specialist decorator to repair the ceiling afterwards.
