Welcome to Power Team Electrics — a new electrical brand built to help qualified, self-employed electricians earn well, stay busy, and avoid the usual admin headaches.

We are based in South Buckinghamshire and are targeting here and the surrounding areas to bring in local work.

We’re creating a trusted, well-recognised name in the trade, and a platform that independent qualified electricians can plug into — keeping your independence, while we handle the parts that slow you down.

Power Team Electrics was founded by Finlay Harris, an electrician who’s lived both sides of it — running as a one-man band and subcontracting. Finlay knows what it’s like trying to juggle everything: quoting, scheduling, customer messages, paperwork, and chasing payments, all while still doing the work on the tools.

 

He has also been a subcontractor where you’re effectively doing a weaker version of a job — without the stability, benefits, or respect — and has been offered plenty of poor subcontracting gigs that squeeze your rate and pile on the hassle. This platform is built to be the opposite of that.

Our goal for you is simple: give good electricians a steady flow of quality work, without the stress of running everything around it.

WHAT WORK YOU’LL GET

We’re primarily focused on domestic electrical work, including:

• Fault finding and callouts

• Consumer unit / board changes

• EV charger installs

• Full and partial rewires

• EICRs and remedial works

• Garden electrics (outdoor lighting, power to sheds/offices, hot tubs, etc.)

• General domestic electrical jobs

• Solar PV

• Battery Storage

We also build relationships with property managers and landlords to generate more consistent, repeat work.

Alongside that, we advertise to affluent homeowners who value a premium service — often leading to more design-led, interesting projects.

FLEXIBLE WORK — YOU STAY IN CONTROL

You can accept or decline as many jobs as you like. Use Power Team Electrics in whatever way suits you:

• As a side gig alongside employment

• As a secondary / backup source of work

• Or as your primary source of work as we grow

As long as you can certify your work and you have the right insurance, you can partner with us.

WHAT WE HANDLE (SO YOU CAN FOCUS ON THE WORK)

ENQUIRIES & CUSTOMER SUPPORT

 

We manage incoming enquiries, customer communication, and job booking under the Power Team Electrics brand — with a dedicated support team so customers are looked after properly.

SCOPING & QUOTING (DONE PROPERLY)

We use AI-driven systems to break down job scopes and produce accurate quotes quickly — reducing time wasted on “tyre kickers” and endless back-and-forth.

MARKETING & JOB FLOW

We run marketing campaigns to generate work, then pass suitable jobs to our partner electricians to complete and certify.

PAYMENTS & PROTECTION

We invoice the customer and manage payment.

If the customer doesn’t pay our invoice by the due date, we will still pay you.

MEMBERSHIP IS FREE

• No subscription fee

• No charge per lead

• No race-to-the-bottom pricing

 

Instead, we agree a fair trade price with you, and the customer pays a higher retail price for a branded, five-star service.

We don’t squeeze electricians — this is built by an electrician, and we’re aiming for premium standards and premium customers.

We’re currently looking for qualified electricians who are:

• Reliable, professional, and customer-focused

• Happy working under a brand that values a five-star experience

• Able to test, certify, and complete work to a high standard

• Properly insured

• Based in (or able to cover) South Buckinghamshire and surrounding areas

• *IMPORTANT*You must have your own insurance and a membership for a competent persons scheme which allows you to certify and sign off notifiable work
