ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION CONDITION REPORT (EICR)

An Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) is essential for checking the safety and compliance of your property’s electrics. Whether you’re a landlord, homeowner, or business owner, we can carry out thorough inspections to identify any faults, damage, or areas that need improvement. Following the test, we’ll provide a clear report and explain any recommendations, giving you peace of mind that your electrical system is safe and up to standard.

Beware! Many companies sell fake EICR reports at unusually low prices - Often they will fill out forms without properly testing, or even not at all, while other fake EICR reports will make up issues with your electrical installation in order to charge for repairs that aren't needed!

Rest assured that Power Team Electrics will do the job properly! An EICR usually takes around half a day for smaller properties, and a whole day for larger ones. The process involves a visual inspection of all the switches and sockets, including dismantling a select few to visually inspect the cables. We will note down any issues that we find when we do this. The next step is to test the condition of the wiring, to make sure there are no breaks in the cable and that everything is correctly wired. Finally we will test the components in the consumer unit and all of the safety devices in the installation. At the end we will give you a report outlining the condition of your installation, and we will point out any safety issues that urgently need addressing as well as non-urgent but highly recommended improvements.

Please fill out the form to provide us with more information about your job. Upon completing the form we will automatically send you a quote for your EICR.
